A recent report from Forrester for “US Online Retail Forecast” for 2012-2017 predicts that online shopping is going to reach $371 billion by 2017. It is necessary for the online retailer to have a minimal turnaround time so that they can deliver products quickly. In addition to this, online retailers must set up warehouses in that demographic area from where they are getting maximum number of orders.
    In addition to this, online retailers must offer the facility to return the products. It is essential on the part of the online retailers to have a good return policy in case if the items delivered is different from the one ordered by the online customer. This increases the confidence among the online shoppers and the genuinity of the online retailers.
  • Additional payment options and security: Online retailers must offer various payment options to the online shoppers so that they will not abandon the shopping cart because of unavailability of the payment options.
